 | Jockey Boy
Dao has been working as a jockey in Sumbawa, Indonesia, since age 5 to support his family with his earnings. Despite dreaming of becoming a veterinarian, Dao ends up at Pak Haji's house after the birth of his younger brother. In exchange for tuition and meals, Dao works in the stable. The daily routine of labor and poverty gradually erodes him. During practice, a fall accident occurs, and Dao begins to doubt the life he has taken for granted.
